Assurement ApS ("Assurement", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the Assurement mobile application and related services (the "App"), how we use it, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. What Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data: a) Account information — Name, email address, phone number, company name and details (for professional users), login credentials. b) Documentation and content you create — Photos you upload, quality assurance (KS) records and DS1140 documentation, reports, meeting notes, and deviation reports, project information you enter. c) Subscription and payment information — Subscription plan, trial status, and purchase history. Payments are processed by Google Play; we do not store your full card details. d) Technical and usage data — Device information and app version, log data and in-app activity, push notification identifiers (device tokens).

2. How We Use Your Data

We process your personal data to: - Provide and operate the App and its features - Create and manage your account - Store and deliver your documentation - Process subscriptions and trials - Send push notifications related to your projects and account - Provide customer support - Maintain security and prevent misuse - Improve the App and fix technical issues - Comply with legal obligations

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

We process your data on the following legal bases: - Performance of a contract — providing the App and your account - Your consent — where required, e.g. push notifications - Legitimate interests — security, improving our services - Legal obligation — e.g. statutory record-keeping requirements

4. Sharing Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only with: - Amazon Web Services (AWS) — our hosting provider, where your data is stored on servers located in the EU region - Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — which we use to deliver push notifications (this processes your device notification token) - Google Play — for payment and subscription processing - Other users within your project — where you choose to share documentation, photos, or reports - Authorities — where required by law All service providers are bound by data protection obligations.

5. Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers located in the European Union, and transmitted using encryption (HTTPS). We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

6. Data Retention

We keep your personal data only as long as necessary to provide the App and to comply with legal obligations. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except for documentation that must be retained under applicable law, which may be kept for the legally required period.

7. Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to: - Access the personal data we hold about you - Request correction of inaccurate data - Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten") - Restrict or object to processing - Data portability - Withdraw consent at any time - Lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet, www.datatilsynet.dk) To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@assurement.dk.

8. Account and Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing info@assurement.dk from your registered email address. We will process your request and delete your data within 30 days, except for documentation we are legally required to retain.

9. Children

The App is intended for professional and adult private users and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available in the App and on our website, with the "Last updated" date shown above.
